Let’s Clear up the Confusion - Part Two

Here is my compete skin care comparison article.

Rejuvinol & Rejuvenox

I couldn’t find the full ingredient lists for the DermaLogic products Rejuvinol and Rejuvenox. The company markets Rejuvenol for day and Rejuvenox for night. The ads don’t list an SPF for the day cream and, based on the advertised active ingredients, I would be inclined to switch the day and night products!

Rejuvinol for day contains Hyaluronic Acid, the most potent moisturizer available. Rejuvinox for night contains AH-3, the Botox-mimicking peptide. Most women prefer a heavier moisturizer for night when the skin is doing its major repair work and a lighter moisturizer with SPF for day as a makeup base.

As well, most woman apply AH-3 for day since it is during the day that our faces are most active – talking, smiling, frowning, squinting against the sun. Daytime is the time you want something to calm down those active facial muscles that form deep lines of expression.

Here’s a very a propos quote I found on WrinkleReview.com: “… we speculate that the Rejuvinol package, consisting of two separate products, was designed by a marketer rather than a dermatologist.”
