Since Avon discontinued its Clinical Laser two-part treatment system for broken capillaries (which many found to be quite effective), let’s see what we can find to replace – or even improve upon – it. Friday, I explained that the two parts of the Clinical system were superior antioxidants and sun protection.
Looking at the problem objectively, it has been a few years since Avon released the Laser System. Today, even stronger antioxidants are available. As well, there are now SPF 30 creams that also provide protection against the sun’s UVA rays (the Aging ones). SPF only refers to a product’s UVB-fighting power.
I reported on both these anti-aging breakthroughs in my Top 7 Anti-Aging Developments of 2007.
What this means is that we can probably come up with an even more powerful two-part treatment for spider veins and broken capillaries. I would choose Revaléskin Night Cream with coffeeberry extract or Idebenol with idebenone for Part1 and Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 55 with Helioplex or Lancome UV Expert with Mexoryl for Part 2.
Apply Part 1 directly to the red areas morning and night. Use Part 2 for day only.
