NOTD – Zoya Pia

I’m on a roll at the minute with polishes I love! Now when I first got this my first thought was “Orange? Really Claire? As in Tango?” In terms of polish colours I’m fairly adventurous but there are a couple of colours I would never ever want on my nails. One is hot pink, another is yellow. Until yesterday orange would have fallen into this category.

The colour is just wonderful. It’s a rich tangerine shade with a subtle shimmer that make it look a little bit luxe to me. This isn’t just tangerine, this is M&S handpicked organic tangerine. It is surprisingly wearable and I’ve received a couple of compliments on it today. I wish it was a bit more opaque as this is three coats and I still have visible nail line but that’s my only niggle.

This is my first foray into the world of Zoya polish. I’d heard good things and I haven’t been disappointed. I like that it doesn’t have nasty chemicals in it. I love the bottle shape too. It’s very sleek and the slim top means the brush is easy to wield. My nails practically painted themselves as the formula lends itself well to quick, thin, even coats. Ignore the marks on my nails in the pics. Being the numpty I am I painted my nails then promptly went to bed so those are sheet marks. It isn’t exactly a quick dry polish but it’s faster than say Diamond Cosmetics.

So what about yourselves? Is orange a fruit too far for you or do you like to rock bright colours on your nails?
