Blogger Interview - Blush, Pout and Pose!

Everytime I see that blog title I get the urge to start posing in a Madonna Vogue style. This week B from Blush, Pout and Pose! has kindly agreed to answer some questions.

·        *  Quick fire question – tell us something you love about blogging and something you’re not too crazy about!

I love getting comments and feedback from people who read my blog - it makes blogging so worth it! I also love discovering new amazing products from other bloggers.
Although I think it's great that bloggers like to thank their followers by running giveaways, but I'm not too fond of those who run it too often where to enter the giveaway you have to promote their blog for them. Giveaways should just be simple because followers that are only in it for the freebies are just not worth it in my opinion.

·         * Why beauty/ makeup? What made you decide you wanted to blog about it?
I love shopping for makeup and love reading other people's reviews on them because I find blogging about other products is really helpful to help you decide whether or not to buy a product or not. So you don't end up wasting good money on a product that was totally not worth it!

·         * You have 5 minutes before you have to leave the house. What items do you throw on?
Presuming I'm dressed and it's only makeup I have to put on then concealer under the eyes, eyeliner and mascara. Maybe a bit of blush too!

·        *  Are there any brands that aren’t available in your country that you would love to try? What ‘local’ brands do you think everyone should have a chance to try?
There are so many Japanese cosmetics that I would love to try! For example BB Creams, Anna Sui (it's really the pretty packaging) and also Dolly Wink.

My favourite local brands are the Sleek eyeshadow palettes - they are so pigmented and the different palettes have great wearable colours. Barry M does fantastic nail polishes. These two brands doesn't cost you the earth either and you get fantastic quality.

·        *  What entices you to follow a new blog? What puts you off?
Well taken pictures, good grammar/spelling and products that I will be interested in. Obviously poor grammar/spelling combined with hard to read fonts can really put me off even if the content is good!

Thanks again B! I'm completely with you on the BB creams. I considered buying a couple on eBay but I've heard too many horror stories about fakes so won't risk it. Illamasqua came out with a BB cream style foundation a couple of months a go which I might pick up after finishing a few other bottles! x
