I find inspiration in the warmth of the sun, the saltiness of the sea, a deep consideration for our embracement of the landscape and environment and what ties us back to this.
I’m forever carrying a scrap book and looking for snippets of the somedays lovin’ girl around me. My debut collection is a mash up of everything I’m loving, deep textural feather plumages, an obsession with vintage lace and a slight respectful nod to Slim Arrons who has the innate ability to capture divine private moments and then make them frozen in time…" - Jaye Leigo, Designer

If there is one label to base your wardrobe around this Summer it's Somedays Lovin'.
The campaign shoot for the new Spring/Summer 2010/2011 Collection is beyond breathtaking.
The earthy-hippy-free-spirit vibe is evoked strongly throughout..
and almost makes me want to ditch all my jobs and live on a secluded beach somewhere for the Summer...
..if I didn't love my work so much that is!

and is soon going to be available on the MARKET HQ Online Store (launching next week- 6th OCT!)

Now I know I said aaaages ago I was going to feature on Stylestalker website
modelling some of their in-between season pieces..
...and yes it's finally (due to webpage issues) gone live!

The girls put me in charge of styling the shoot which was great fun and an amazing oppertunity.
Working with Emmanual from Tangent Mag (whose work I adore) was an experience too indeed!
Was really awesome to see what it's like to do a little work in-front of the camera for a change.
Let me tell you from first hand experience...models DO work hard!
By the end of it I was exhausted!

Well what a day!
We had another lookbook shoot for Stylestalker today..

Shot by Tangent Magazine's Emmanual Giraud in their Studio in Alexandria.
The collection we shot was Desert Fox and is by far my favourite yet.
So so hot. Can’t waaaaait until it comes out! Get excited for SUMMER people.
Posing up a storm in front of the camera was ex-Aust Top Model beauty Cassi Van Den Dungen
Who totally nailed every shot...even when not posing..

...this girl does NOT take a single bad photo (FML).

Also whilst spending the day at Tangent Magazine Studio got to meet their new intern
Who is fellow Sydney blogger Emily over at the amazing Little Black Book...
...and can I just say..this girl is totally cute and rocking the best bright purple tips in hair I have seen yet! Nice work lady.

Tangent:3rdTime'sACharm

TANGENT ONLINE MAGAZINE

Just last week..Tangent Magazine released their 3rd issue BOLD...
..and it totally blew my mind.

The amout of creative energy poured into and absorbed into the online mag is HUGE.
I have been a reader of Tangent since their first issue...
..and they seem to continue to out-do themselves yet again.

Above is my favourite editorial from the current Issue.
"Dita Feathers"...howwww amazual is it?!
The shot of her hanging those feathers is so genius.
Emmanual Giraud (photographer) brings so much energy into all his shoots..
and Heather Cairns (stylist) is always so spot on and hits the theme and vision every time.
Can't wait to see what is to come in the next!

I was also VERY flattered to be featured in the current issue...

Feel very chuffed to be mentioned as a 'new kid on the block'!
