But then I thought it is not easy to review a powder foundation,in term of photos and difference on the skin, so I thought I would look through my stash of BECCA products, and try to create a look.
There are 2 blushes missing here and 2 loose powders - BECCA is my most purchased and re-purchased brand of makeup.
I thought that I would recreate a Rebecca Morrice Williams look using her favourite products which I read about on nonstopmamma
I am slightly obsessed with Rebecca Morrice Williams, she always looks completely groomed and whilst I look nothing like her, I like a challenge.

Now before I go on, this will not be a strong look, the textures are very sheer, and I am not know for my creativity in makeup, I just want to look like myself but better ie less tired and grey.
So from top row L - R Mineral Primer SPF30 which I have reviewed here, dual purpose of supplying my SPF and filling in the crevices which are my pores, plus the whiteness knocks out the redness in my cheeks.
Luminous Skin Tint in Porcelain, this is the palest shade with a hint of pink but a tad, a smidge. This is not a foundation but a very sheer wash of tint to even out the skin tone and not to conceal. I had forgotten how good this is, it really cools down my skin, and whilst it does not cover, it really does even out. This also has an SPF (+25)
Next Stick Foundation in Praline, again with a high SPF (30), this is opaque enough to cover the blackheads, and thread veins but sheer enough to use under my eyes. I do have the compact concealer in various shades including Meringue (super pale), Parfait (less super pale) and Praline but tend to find the texture less useable, it needs a bit of warming up.
Beach Tint in Raspberry which I reviewed here, I used on cheeks and lips.
Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl, this has a lovely sheen and again has an SPF although mine is not new and as such the SPF may be defunct. I used this on eyelids and on top of cheeks.
Boudoir Skin Mineral Powder Foundation - in Beloved, this is my new favourite product, it is a mineral powder foundation but in a pressed form. I have applied this to bare skin and was amazed that it covered my poor old skin with ease. I think to do it justice one has to apply over the LSC and Stick Foundation but it sort of seals in the makeup and gives me a pretty flawless face all day. Beloved is the palest shade which errs on the cooler side, Bliss is neutral to yellower pale.
Ultimate Mascara - again I had forgotten how good this is.
And here I am looking like the reflection in the back of a spoon, so apologies for this, it's a nose thing, apparently it keeps growing, oh dear.
At least you can see the Raspberry Beach Tint on cheeks and lips - but the nose, dear god the nose.
