From L - RPai Echium Eye Cream - I have to thank amodelrecommends for her review and subsequent offer. Eye creams are not easy I think, too light and zero effect, too rich and puffy eyelids, at least that's what happens to me. For me an eye cream should really "do no harm". My problems with my eyes are discolouration on the lids - hello concealer, and sagging eyelids which no amount of ingredients are going to reduce and I do a) have the spare funds for surgery, or b) have the spare funds for surgery. This eyecream is definately a cream with the texture of a cream albeit a light one, and it does the job, it moisturises, does not irritate, and leaves my eyelids feeling cool and calm. I do not like the pump, a pump never delivers anything less than a dollop which is far too much for 2 eyelids. Currently £24 for 10mls from paiskincare.com Sarah Chapman Dynamic Defence SPF15 Day Cream - I have already bought my replacement of this and have already used up a previous bottle. In a life where I flit about like a butterfly trying this lotion and this potion, it is a delight to find a product which a cannot better for my skin. Rich and creamy without being heavy, my oily/sensitive/combination skin has a real affinity with this day cream. Currently £43 for 40mls from SpaceNK but QVC often do good value kits.Trilogy Rosehip Oil - I like face oils very much and tend to always have one on the go, I currently have 3 rosehip oils on the go (whoops!) and will do a comparison post at some stage. This rosehip oil by Trilogy is quite light, spreads easily into the skin without feeling at all greasy and for someone with oilier skin that is a bonus. Rosehip oil seems to calm the redness in my face and I notice when I don't use it. £16.50 for 20mls from BootsEssie 3-Way Glaze - I do still have a little left in this bottle but it is on its way out. This rescues my nails, it is designed as a base coat, top coat and treatment all in one and it really does work, I can almost see my nails growing, and it doesn't dry my nails or cause any subsequent coats of varnish to peel off. I buy mine from Boots
My Sarah Chapman giveaway ends on Sunday nightI did a bit of an overspend on Sarah Chapman's 1 hr special show on QVC and having already a facialift and a full size overnight facial, these were surplus to requirement. The prize is one Sarah Chapman Facialift + 1 5mls trial size of Sarah Chapman Overnight Facial, + instructions card.
So rules? Well none really - I don't display my GF button so you don't need to be a follower, a comment would be nice, something cheery, what beauty related item cheers your soul? And an email for me to get in touch should you be successful.I don't mind sending abroad - well strictly speaking that is not true because I will worry that it won't get there but then I will worry if I am sending in the UK, I think therefore I worry.Good luck - I will number every entry and then get Ned to pick a number randomly next Sunday (25th September)
I love facial oils, even though I have an oilier skin, I find that the oils seem to help balance out my skin and when I use them my skin seems calmer, clearer and less oily.Sarah Chapman Overnight Facial is one of my favourites. It has a noticeable jasmine and white flowers scent which is noticeable without being overpowering. The oil itself is light and liquidy which may seem a bit obvious but believe me I have used facial oils which can drag over the skin because the base oil is too heavy. The idea is to take one pump all over an already cleansed face in the evening and massage in. The Facialift has been designed by Sarah Chapman to mimic the knuckling and tapping massage techniques of a salon facial and massage, and it really does work. The white knobbly discs are firm enough to be used along the jawline without being painful or at worse ineffective.I am a big fan of facial massage and would urge anyone unfamiliar to check out beautymouth's post here, but the Facialift is good for days when I need to quickly get some life into my face.Sarah Chapman is available from SpaceNK, QVC, Lookfantastic, BeautyExpert and whilst not cheap is not extortionate either. The range is small and effective and also economical - I have used the Overnight Facial at least once a week since the beginning of the year and I have more than 75% left.
