I already have one of the Studio blushes in Blushing Rose and I love it so I felt it was about time that I indulged in some more. These are £3.50 each for 4.8g of lovely product and come in the NARS-esque black packaging with a handy window to see the colour through and a decent sized mirror. I have Gotta Glow (a blatant NARS Albatross rip off) which is a gold shimmering highlighter and Pink Passion which is a vivid slightly yellow toned matte pink.
Pink Passion already has a special place in my collection and one of the few true pinks I can wear. My neutral skin tone seems to make cool toned pinks look too dolly and warm toned pinks can pull a little reddish. This is spot on perfect. It’s incredibly pigmented so you literally just need to tap your brush to it and although it can be a little powdery it blends easily and lasts most of the day too. Definitely a win!
Gotta Glow is fast becoming a firms favourite too. Yes it looks white and scary in the pan but on the skin it is a lovely golden sheen with no hint of looking ashy. In a perfect world I would like the shimmer to be a touch more finely milled but it doesn’t look glittery at all. Again is can be a little powdery but it practically melts itself onto the skin.
I’m not sure if I’ll be picking up any of the other shades as they look a little too shimmery for my taste but I’d recommend these to anyone. They are fantastic value for money and perform brilliantly. Love them! X
*I bought these myself*
