Monday I shared with you the antiaging skin care recommendations made by dermatologist Dr. Jeanine Downie on the Today Show. Looking over her separate lists for the 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond, I was struck that she suggested multiple products from SkinMedica’s TNS line.
I wanted to know what could be so unique about TNS that she would recommend different TNS products for each age group. The first thing I found was that TNS Recovery Complex was recommended on Oprah by no less than Dr. Pat Wexler.
Now that name I recognize. Dr. Wexler is one of the most sought after cosmetic dermatologists in the country. Though Dr. Wexler is based in New York City, Hollywood celebs like Ellen Barkin fly in monthly for their treatments. Barbara Streisand and designer Donna Karan also sing Dr. Wexler’s praises.
Dr. Wexler has her own line of skin creams; so it is even more impressive that she publicly recommended TNS Recovery Complex. On Oprah, she said that TNS Recovery Complex boosts collagen production and can rejuvenate skin. She explained that TNS stands for “Tissue Nutrient Solution” and is made from six natural human growth factors found in normal healthy skin. The growth factors are engineered from human foreskin!
If you tried TNS Recovery a while ago and switched, you may want to try again. They’ve improved the scent, which some found objectionable, and put it in a new problem-free pump.
