Inspired by the images in this book, I went searching for more confetti images and found these.... While I'm not a gold person, I just love the festive vibe of these two pieces!!

Would be fun to use for a cocktail party, perhaps serve hot glogg (spiced warm port or red wine) in the mug!

A touch of gold......
A new take on a mid century cabinet, used here as a vanity. What do you think of the plaid design? How about that tiny little owl, holding make-up brushes? I like him the most...... :)

Full view of the bathroom. I think the pop of orange is great, so not to become too beige / gold! Cool space, huh?

A girly "moment".... Making things you use on a daily basis look pretty when not in use, makes you space a pleasure to be in!

I can almost feel the softness of these polished and smooth shells.... finished with a tiny bit of gold at the "seam".
Are they not just the prettiest shells you have seen in a while?

Take a close look at this cuff... Do you see it?

I share the initial H with non other than India Hicks, and this cuff is from her collection at Sugar Mill by India Hicks. It's very inexpensive, even better right?

Something so sweet and girl-y about these two images... Almost like a secret look into private quarters!

Love the silvery textures and colors in the first image, and the golden brassy feel of the second image!

When you are not wearing your jewelery, do you display it? Do you hide it, or do you simply have so much that you have a designated drawer for your accessories??

Do you have a favorite image?? While I am more of a silvery, white gold, platinum kind of girl, I tend to like the golden image better.... hmmmm.... probably the teal that's drawing me in.

Anyhoooo, just sharing two super pretty detailed shots, hope you think they are as pretty as I do?!

Do you recall this post? Well, as a reader of Northern Light, I am sure you are aware that I have a new found love for Sea Fans! This little saltwater display just made me smile :) The sea urchin and the sand dollar are so pretty, love all the texture and different whites!

Speaking of texture...
Nothing like an old french church candelabra, though I am not sure if they are a little passe or not? That's it for today folks, super busy week, please be patient...
