Here are my anti-aging picks for oily skin.
Perfectionist [CP+] with Poly-Collagen Peptides Correcting Serum for Line/Wrinkles/Age Spots by Estee Lauder
The CP in Perfectionist CP stands for Collagen Peptides. This silky serum contains two anti-aging peptides: Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 and Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, albeit not in very high concentration. Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 is commonly called the Botox-mimicking peptide. Palmitoyl Oligo (or Penta) peptide is one of the filling peptides which help plump out wrinkles from the inside. As for antioxidants to fight free radical damage, Perfectionist CP contains Aminopropyl Ascorbyl Phosphate, Linoleic Acid and a long list of plant flavonoids. It has fruit extracts for gentle exfoliating action.
Finally, Perfectionist CP has multiple temporary tighteners including Caffeine, Licorice Root Extract, Yeast Extract and Hydrolyzed Soy Protein. A nice finishing touch to perfect a very fine formula.
DDF C3 Plus Serum by Doctor’s Dermatologic Formula
DDF C3 contains high concentrations of Palmitoyl Pentapeptide (brand name Matrixyl) for wrinkle-plumping and stabilized Vitamin C, along with Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, for antioxidant power.
It contains Citric Acid for mild exfoliation and skin-identical ingredients to moisturize without adding oil or clogging pores. This makes it especially suitable for oily or blemish-prone skin.
DDF C3 beats Perfectionist for free-radical protection with Vitamin C as the second ingredient out of 25. And though it only contains one peptide, that too is more highly concentrated than the peptides in Perfectionist.
