We get a lot of requests at Ageless Beauty to help people evaluate new anti-aging treatments or products.

Sometimes readers also ask if it is safe to order online. I do it all the time myself, but I do use caution. I am very comfortable ordering from big online merchants like Amazon, Drugstore.com, Beauty.com, Skinstore.com and Strawberry.net.

When I’m dealing with a new company, I make sure to read all the fine print – especially the product guarantee and return policy. I calculate the cost per ounce. Sometimes the product picture looks like a large bottle or jar but when I check the amount, it only contains a half ounce. That might not even last a month, depending on the type of product.

I make sure that I am not signing up for an auto-ship program. Some people like auto-ship for the convenience, but not me. If you are interested in auto-ship, be sure to read all the terms.
