Reader #2 wrote back with some words of wisdom about selecting anti-aging products. She has done quite a bit of research on some leading edge ingredients, so I hope she won’t mind my sharing this.
“I haven't actually used any of these products as I'm confused as to which one works best. However, after reading more about SYN®-AKE, I've learned that you are not supposed to use it under the eye, which is where I need it, so I'll probably cross that one off my list.
I guess the best thing to do is if a product claims to have certain ingredients, check the label to ensure it does, and in what order the pertinent ones appear. I think the hardest thing to do is get through all the marketing "hype", especially if you're uneducated in anti-aging like I am, though I feel I'm learning a lot from your website.
Once I try something I'll let you know how well it works for me. Thanks! Reader #2.”
I don’t know anything about SYN®-AKE, so appreciate the caution about not using it under the eyes. I’ve put it on my list of new ingredients to research. As I said Sunday, I was most impressed by the ingredient list for DermaExcel, so I’ve already started researching that one.
Stay tuned!
