Having heard so many people saying this was their favourite nude lippie and seeing how fab it looked with smoky eyes on a friend I caved and purchased. This, for me, was a mistake. I like my nudes with a hint of colour. Concealer lips do not look good on me! Nonetheless the lipstick itself it (I feel) a good product so I’ll review it anyway.

The packaging is pretty basic with fairly lightweight black and silver packaging. Not luxe by any means but perfectly functional. These are matte lipsticks and as such are a touch drying. Make sure your lips are in top nick before applying these or any flaky bits will be accentuated. That said they aren’t drying to the point of creating cat bum mouth unlike some matte lipsticks. I find it to be pretty well pigmented but it may take a couple of swipes to get an even colour.

The colour is a very peachy nude skin tone colour. In fact you can see it is pretty close to my actual skin tone.... Seriously I look hilarious with this on. I actually showed my husband this on and we were both hysterical with laughter. For reference I am very pale with neutral undertones so if you have similar colouring this probably won’t be for you either.

These are normally priced at £7.29 and as with most drugstore brands can often be found on sale. I’m giving serious consideration to picking up another couple of matte shades from this line as matte formulations are difficult to get right and I think Revlon have done a pretty good job. The colour is just wrong for me :-( x
*I bought this myself*
