Stila Shine Lip Colour SPF20 – Sonia & Anna

I think these have probably been discontinued but you can still find them in TK MAXX (where I found these) and Cheap Smells had them up for less than a fiver. I decided they were worth a mention because these particular shades, if you can find them, are perfect for this time of year. The evenings are drawing in and I’m continuing my vampy berry lip phase. 

The packaging is rather lovely. It’s all pretty and silver with filigree print. The lipsticks themselves have an irritating waxy scent and taste. Not like gone off lipstick but more like that annoying scent that NARS lip products have. 

The formula is sheer but still gives you plenty of colour. The result is a rather juicy look on the lips. Anna is a brick coloured rusty red shade (Left on lipstick pic, bottom on swatch pic). Sonia is more of a pinky berry shade.

They aren’t particularly moisturising but they don’t dry my lips out either. They don’t last particularly long on the lips either, perhaps 3-4 hours. Regardless I just love the look of these. They are perfect for easing you into darker vampy shades for Autumn/ Winter x
