Mary Emma, at Home Biz Notes, tell how you can develop a Home-based Business around Favorite Family Recipes.
There are other wonderful things you can do to preserve those precious family recipes too.
My sister Eileen at The Artful Crafter once created small three-ring photo binders of family favorites and gave them as Christmas gifts. Everyone loved them and now we all have copies of Grammy’s babka, Eileen’s peiorogis, Mom’s chicken in sour cream. Yum!
Last year, she did a Family Reunion Dinner Menu for a traditional Polish Easter feast. The menu (with whose recipe each was) on one side and a selection of family photos on the other. People were so surprised. Some of the photos had not been seen by all before. Lots of laughs and tears. It was a great day.
So many family memories can be shared through food. Speaking of which, create some family memories today.
Happy Mother's Day!
