Blogger Interview with Kirsty From Beautifully Addicted To

Thankyou so much to everyone who responded about my blogger interview series! Remember if you want to be featured just let me know in the comments. Today we have one half of a sister double act! Kirsty from Beautifully Addicted To

·         Quick fire question – tell us something you love about blogging and something you’re not too crazy about!
Actually the best part about blogging for me is actually the info and great finds I get from following and reading other blogs.  I always find new products I wanna buy and try from reading blog posts, especially those who show off the products with great picture and swatches.

I find it difficult to say something I am not crazy about when it comes to blogging and the world of blogging.  I think sometimes you can feel a bit intimated by some bloggers especially if you are new.  I don't have great spelling or grammar! but I love blogging so it sometimes make me feel a bit rubbish when people mention how they hate poor grammar and spelling in posts via Twitter.

·         Why beauty/ makeup? What made you decide you wanted to blog?
My sister L (Lindsey) had originally started the blog with her friend Dani (Giddy Princess), who started to do her own blog.  After a while of L doing the blog on her own I decided to start helping out back in November, as I am a shopaholic!  I actually love buying all things not just make-up and beauty, luckily for me my day job is in Buying!

·         You have 5 minutes before you have to leave the house. What items do you throw on?
I couldn't leave the house without at least putting on some tinted moisturiser/light weighted foundation (my new fav is No Lift & Luminate in Alabaster or Lush Colour Supplement in Jackie Oats), under eye concealer (Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair), Blusher (Benefit Benetint or E.L.F Studio Blusher Merry Berry), a slick of lip balm (my new fave is Lip Smackers Sprite) and lastly some Mascara ( at the moment its No7 Intense Volume Mascara in Brown) - I don't like to wear a lot of make-up but I feel naked and look ill without at least these 5.

·         Are there any brands that aren’t available in your country that you would love to try? What ‘local’ brands do you think everyone should have a chance to try?
Local Brands that people should try would be Boots 17, George at Asda Nail Polish, Collection 2000 and Barry M.

Brands not available in UK - not so much of a brand but a shop would be Sephora I have never been to one I'd loved to go.  Brand wise would be NYX and MUFE.

·         What entices you to follow a new blog? What puts you off?
I am enticed by the images and content really, mine and L's blog is about high street affordable make-up that's what we buy and love so I tend to follow blogs that are about similar products.  I prefer to read posts about items I am more likely to buy or can at least afford to buy.

I am put off by a lot sponsored pots that don't use any of their own images just stock pictures and posts about a new product they have picked up yet doesn't include any swatches.

Thanks for taking the time to answer the questions Kirsty! x
