Holiday Packing Fail

I confess I am the worst packer in the world. Actually I’m not, I do know someone who as a child packed only slippers for a holiday. I am guilty of running around at the last possible minute and chucking whatever comes to hand in a bag. I am actually on my jolly hols right now and gingerly approached my suitcase this morning to see what had been thrown in.

The big brown case is from The Body Shop, the black case it the ELF Studio Brush kit case. The purple bag is just what hangs around in my hand bag chilling out with 30,000 empty Galaxy chocolate wrappers.

I ended up bringing more brushes than I will likely use but I was just grabbing at random.

And more makeup than I will need too. For cheek products I brought the ELF Shimmer palette, Estee Lauder blush/ bronzer trio and some ELF blushes. I don’t like to bring my favourite products away with me in case they get lost or broken. These will be more than enough though!

I brought a Revlon Spring/ Summer palette from a while ago and a Went n Wild Holiday palette from last year. It’s a bit of an off choice they must have appealed at the time! NYX Highlight is a staple for me, the Revlon cream shadows are good bases. Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin is the only primer I have left after finally finishing my ELF Mineral one and Benefit BadGal black is on its last legs so needs using up.

Then some random tools. Random fact, that Bourjois double pencil sharpener fits the NYX Jumbo Eye pencils AND the Benefit chunky pencils. A Sleek brow pencil and MUA clear mascara complete brows and a Sleek gel liner might be handy.

For bases I have the Benefit You Rebel Lite which needs using up, a mix of Revlon Colour Stay and Stile tinted moisturiser in a sample pot, MAC Select Moisture Cover, Garnier Tinted Eye Roll On and Clinique City Block primer.

And finally the random crap in my hand bag. There is an ELF Complexion Perfection pressed powder in there hence me not packing another powder. It’s all pretty self explanatory.
