All four are good quality however some are more equal than others. Woodwinked (top left in palette) is sublime. It’s a gorgeous golden bronze which glides on like a cream. It is silk in eyeshadow form. It is also the only shimmery colour here.

My second favourite is Blanc Type (bottom right). It’s a matte beige cream but call me crazy (you wouldn’t be the first!) I think it has a pinkish undertone. That may just be my skin but I’m sure it’s there. This is also soft and goes on fairly opaque. I often find shadows in this colour family look a bit chalky and patchy, not so in this case. Fab!
Third is Wedge (bottom left). This is the colour of milky coffee and is again gorgeous. It’s still soft but not quite as soft as Blanc Type. It’s a gorgeous neutral.
The final, and only one of these I wouldn’t bother repurchasing, is Corduroy (top right). It’s a warm deep chocolate which looks gorgeous in the pan but for some reason patchy on my skin. It is by no means unworkable but I’ve just come to expect a higher standard from MAC. However it is a teeny little fly in an otherwise lovely jar of ointment.
