My most worn eye look is a dark smoky eye with a punch of colour somewhere on the lid. I will even wear various incarnations of the theme to work. These shadows are right up my alley in terms of their gorgeous deep colours and smouldering application. I bought my first, Moon Beam, in a blog sale and an obsession was born.

Here we have Moon Beam (black based metallic green), Super Nova (they say peach pink, I say black based magenta/ purple) and Mocha Meteor (rich metallic chocolate).
Look at the preeeeeetty. I love these. They are so pigmented. Moon Beam and Super Nova need to be patted on rather than swept on in order to retain their lovely iridescent colour. Swiping at them leaves you with the black base and not much else. I would recommend using those two over a sticky base. Mocha Meteor is creamier in texture.

As you can see in the pan they are all a mixture of swirled colours. The swatches are done with the brush having been swirled over the entire shadow. To be honest you could try and pick up the separate colours but you’d need a super small brush and I like them the way I’ve used them.

These have been compared to several other shadows (e.g. Moon Beam Vs NARS Night Porter) but for the price these have won for me. You can get then for £11 each at Debenhams though I have seen them much cheaper elsewhere on the interwebs xx
