The formula dries fast enough to leave lumps and streaks but not fast enough to be smear proof within a couple of minutes. The finish is more of a satiny matte which seems a little erm... half arsed. I like my mattes matte and everything else shiny shiny. The colour is ok, nothing special but ok. I experienced tip wear within three hours. It needs two coats, many mattes are ok with just the one. Not a happy bunny.
There are some redeeming features however. The soft rubbery lid on the matte polishes is fantastic as it’s so much easier to grip. Add a glossy top coat and not only are the wear issues improved but the colour goes from blue biro blah (hehe I alliterate) to and smooth inky loveliness. I’d call it a true navy blue. Of course I forgot to take photos with a top coat on so you’re just going to have to take my word for that!
