NOTD – George Ultra Violet

Well hello there you sexy duochrome thang you. This is another little gem from George at Asda for the princely sum of £1.50. I do love these little polishes. They make picking up cat litter and milk (the milk is for me, not the cat) so much more exciting. This particular offering is a purple/lilac that flashes blue in any light. Sometimes a duochrome only shows its many colours in direct sunlight but I found this mesmerising indoors too. The formula is a little thinner and more watery than say Raincloud but it is easy to work with. My one little gripe is that this is 3 coats and it still isn’t opaque. Ordinarily this would be a deal breaker for me but for this colour it seems to somehow make it look more... delicate. Well done George whoever you may be. You do make some very interesting nail polish!
