Dove Summer Glow Body Lotion (Fair/ Medium)

I have already posted on the St. Tropez gradual facial tanner which I use to top up my tan in between fake tan sessions. I use this body lotion for the same purpose. I bought two of these on offer (buy one get one free for around £5), they are currently half price at Boots. You get 250ml still although they have changed the bottle slightly since I bought these. 

The lotion is a thick, white cream (ooh er) which actually spreads fairly easily and is absorbed quickly despite the thick consistency. To begin with there is a fresh clean scent which isn’t too overpowering and fades within an hour or two. Unfortunately though by the end of the day there is an ever so slight scent of hobnobs. The biscuity fake tan smell does appear but it really isn’t too noticeable. I notice it but those around me swear they haven’t (apart from my cat who loves the smell of fake tan and licks me whenever I wear it... ew). 

I notice a subtle colour change after one use but you benefit from using this for a few days in a row. It builds up nicely and I haven’t experienced any patchiness at all. As a body lotion it works pretty well too, my scaly legs are suitably moisturised and it doesn’t cling to elbows/ knees. 

Will I buy it again? It’s an ok product and I’m enjoying using it but I think after these two bottles are gone it will be time to try something else. I’m not crazy about the scent x
