MAC Dainty Blush

I seem to have been a bit of a MAC fiend of late. Here is a quick swatch of my current favourite MAC blush – Dainty. This is a mineralize blush and I find the texture much softer and easier to blend than normal MAC blushes. It’s a soft peachy pink with gold shimmer and slight sparkles throughout. The shimmer doesn’t come off too strong on the cheeks however so it’s still nice and wearable.

I would call it medium pigmentation. It’s vibrant enough but blends out to a subtle finish. In fact if you are overzealous with the kabuki you run the risk of it blending off all together. That being said once it’s on (and you’ve stopped buffing) it last fairly well on my skin. It’s faded a bit by the end of the day but it hasn’t completely vanished.

I think I prefer the mineralized blushes to the regular ones. In fact I’m giving serious consideration to having another peek at the In the Groove ones. Have you tried them? What did you think? xxx
