More Groovy MAC Swatches – Petticoat, By Candlelight and Comfort

Petticoat is without a doubt unutterably gorgeous in the pan. It’s more frosty than the others which to be honest makes it a little more difficult for me to use. Used with a very light hand though it is a gorgeous cool highlight. In the swatch I have it all swirled together and then mainly the light pink bits on the bottom. This makes it highly customizable which is something to bear in mind when you are buying. Don’t be afraid to ask the MUA for one with more or less veining according to your preference.




By Candlelight is my new favourite highlight. It is a warm pale gold, shimmery but not glittery. Swept over the tops of my cheekbones it gives me a lovely ‘glow’. I can see this getting some pretty heavy usage from me!




Comfort is a funny one for me. I don’t use bronzer so I’m not really sure why I bought it. It is much more matte than the others apart from the gold veining. I figure I need to go watch a million billion youtube videos on bronzer application. Even I can appreciate the lovely warm colour and the fact it doesn’t seem to pull orange on my skin. Maybe this will be the summer I try fake tanning again? *dun dun duuuuun!!!!*
