I like Avon’s Clinical Deep Crease Serum. It has a silky feel like Clinical Line and Wrinkle Corrector (LWC). As for anti-aging ingredients, it has two excellent ones: the strongest moisturizer available (Hyaluronic Acid); and Acetyl-Hexapeptide-3 to relax the muscles that form deep lines of expression. Unfortunately, these wonderful ingredients are the last two on the ingredient list – in other words, in insufficient amounts to have much effect.
Avon’s Ageless Results, which comes in a day and a night cream is high in Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3 (PP-3), soy and antioxidants – no one-trick pony and my pick for best value from Avon’s stable of anti-aging products. PP-3 stimulates new collagen production, plumping out wrinkles from within.
Clinical Thermafirm has a silky feel, similar to my favorite Clinical product, LWC. It contains the second strongest skin moisturizer available, Imidazolidinyl Urea, and lots of nice-sounding botanicals, including corn kernel extract, fennel fruit extract, carrot root extract, apple root extract, almond seed extract, and licorice root extract. However, I doubt that these botanicals can give one a “thermal lift”.
If I could tolerate the smell (like very heavy incense), Anew Alternative would probably be my #1 choice from the Avon stable of anti-aging facial products. Not a one-trick pony, Alternative contains high concentrations of Glycolic Acid and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-3, the anti-sag, anti-glycation peptide.
Though I personally like Clinical Line and Wrinkle Corrector best of all the Avon anti-aging facial products, if I had to pick the best products for their anti-aging potential, I would choose Anew Alternative (very effective anti-aging ingredients) and Ageless Results (effective anti-aging ingredients and excellent value).
