“The Wrinkle Cure” is not Enough

Most women freak out when they see their first sign of a wrinkle. For the ensuing decades, many obsess about their wrinkles and don’t even realize that wrinkles are not the only visible sign of skin aging.

Robert Weiss, M.D. and associate professor of dermatology at Johns Hopkins University, quoted in the April issue of Good Housekeeping, says, “If all you ever work on is wrinkles, no one will ever tell you what great skin you have. The key is to treat your face as a whole.”

There are four pronounced visible signs of skin aging. In addition to wrinkles, they are sagging, age spots and redness. This doesn’t mean that you need four different skincare products to treat each symptom. Fortunately, more and more cosmetic companies are combining multiple anti-aging ingredients in single products.
