Doctor-Recommended Sisley Daily Line Reducer

A reader asked what value I am adding in this series of blogs simply repeating Dr. Jeanine Downey’s antiaging skin care recommendations from an episode of the Today Show. I’m so glad she asked because I have not been “simply repeating.”

The interview with Dr. Downie was quite brief and the recommended products for each age group were given without explanation. If you know anything about my website,
Ageless-Beauty.com, you know that I am very big on ingredients and want to know how and if they are effective and safe.

This is the last segment on Dr. Downey’s interview and I want to share what I learned about one of the products she recommended for the 40s,
Sisley Daily Line Reducer.

The Sisley line was founded in 1976 with the philosophy of using only pure botanical ingredients. Therefore you won’t find any of the new amazing
antiaging peptides in Sisley products.

If you are into botanical ingredients, Sisley may be a good choice for you despite the high price. The Daily Line Reducer contains extracts of Alkekengi's calyx, Soya and Padina Pavonica.

Sisley believes these ingredients help reconstruct the skin's framework
“by preserving the dermis fibres which make up the density, the elasticity and the resistance of the skin (anti-collagenase and anti-elastase effects), by stimulating the neo-synthesis of collagen in order to densify the support tissue, as well as the glycosaminoglycanes which reinforce the hydra-cushion.”

As for me, had all these products been available when I went through my 40s, I would have skipped this recommendation and gone right to the 50s list for
TNS Rejuvenator and Neova Day Therapy.

And I would have saved a ton of money!
